Lost your Mojo?

I regularly get people asking me what to do when you lose your mojo and the discussion came up again this past week and today I was talking on my Latte Girls forum and explained how I wanted to do a card using Festival of Trees and the All is Calm Designer Series Paper and noticed there are so many online at the moment and I just wanted mine to look a wee bit different than the rest.  

Now usually when I’m stuck or have lost my ‘mojo’ I head to the challenge blogs for ideas and my favourite one is Mojo Monday – they have a new sketch every Monday you can use as inspiration and they also have a dedicated page on their blog just for all the sketches they’ve done sorted by year.  So that’s what I did and this is the sketch that jumped out at me …

This is how my card turned out …

I love how this turned out and so did the ladies at last week’s Stamp A Stack. It was quick and easy and although the colours are similar to all those other cards out the it does look a wee bit different to the rest – well that’s my story anyways! 

Can you see the tree on the left?  I saw this tip this past week that how one of the snowflakes from the new Many Merry Stars (Merry & Bright Christmas Supplement) fits perfectly in the tree punch!  I also love that Lost Lagoon Satin ribbon – I think I’ve gone through about 5 rolls to date with my projects and classes!  The rhinestones also work perfectly to lift the card and give it a little bling.
